Dr. Keith Schwer receives the Thayne Robson Award

Dr. Keith Schwer, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research and professor of economics, was awarded the Thayne Robson Award at the fall Association for University Business and Economic Research (AUBER) annual conference in Memphis, Tennessee, on October 16, 2006. He is the second recipient of the award. This award honors the late Thayne Robson, past president and long-time supporter of AUBER. To have been selected to receive this award the recipient must have been an active or retired member of the organization; an AUBER member for 15 years; held leadership role in center (director or equivalent) at host institution; served on AUBER board of directors in leadership capacity; provided outstanding service to the organization; exhibited selfless, exceptional, and long-term commitment to the association; a tireless promoter of AUBER and its members; a mentor to association members; and an economic and public policy leader in their state.
