From economic shutdown to entrepreneurial surge.

CBER recently released a white paper on small business creation in Nevada during and after the pandemic, finding our state experienced one of the strongest surges in entrepreneurial activity in the nation.

Our research found:
✅ Nearly 40% of today’s businesses started after the pandemic
✅ Business filings in Nevada rose sharply in 2020 and reached their highest level since 2006 in 2021.
✅ Small businesses accounted for 45% of Nevada’s private sector jobs in 2022.
